Fakultas Teknologi Kebumian dan Energi - Teknik Geologi
Generation 2000

Rizki Arie Fajar is an Alumni of the Geological Engineering Study Program, FTKE, Trisakti University who has now succeeded in achieving his dream as a geologist by working as a Geology and Geophysics Staff for Gas Development, Field Development Technology Division, Planning Sector, SKK Migas.

Testimonials:

The Geology Study Program at Trisakti University has been around since 1980, meaning that when I started my education there in 2000, Trisakti Geology was already 20 years old. At that time the technology and methods were very different when compared to current conditions. But the knowledge that is taught about the geological science of the concept and process of the formation of a rock and how humans can use it both in theory and field work is very good. This is so important because it is the foundation of the science.

Another thing is that Geology and HMTG study programs are open to all positive things from outside, such as scientific organizations (AAPG, IAGI and other organizations). This is very necessary because that is where students get knowledge from fellow students from other campuses and companies.

With current conditions, Trisakti geology students should no longer see the oil and gas (hydrocarbon) industry as the ultimate goal but can see that mining, engineering geology, environmental geology, geothermal (renewable energy) are the future as geologists.

Finally, students should not only be satisfied with all the conditions provided by the campus, they must dare to explore themselves and be supported by the university by being active in scientific organizations (off campus) and actively writing writing because this is a method to sharpen and apply our knowledge.

We hope that the Usakti Geology Study Program and GeoSakti Student Study Program will be more successful and their knowledge will be useful for Red and White.
