The closing event of Geological Mapping for the Even Semester of the Academic Year 2022/2023 was held in Purwokerto on Sunday, August 13, 2023. The closing event began with a welcoming speech from the Secretary of the Geological Engineering Program, Mr. M. Apriniyadi S.Si., M.Sc., followed by Mr. Muhammad Adimas Amri, S.T., M.T., as the Deputy Coordinator of Mapping, and also Dr. Ir. Dewi Syavitri, Vice Dean 2 of the Faculty of Earth and Energy Technology. The event was attended by 3 field supervisors and 14 mapping participants. The geological mapping locations were spread across several administrative areas in Banyumas Regency, including Ajibarang, Wangon, Lumbir, and Gumelar. The purpose of this geological mapping is to enable geology students to conduct mapping effectively according to the geological principles they have learned in their coursework. After evaluating the geological mapping results from each participant, 3 students with the highest scores were recognized as the BEST Mapping participants for this period, as follows.
