Welcome to everyone The first #KepoinBumi series has been held on 27 November 2021 with interesting topics presented by the Geological Engineering Study Program which of course also brings experts in their fields.
This webinar series which was attended by approximately 55 participants aims to introduce Geology to the wider community, including what is studied, what activities are carried out by geologists, as well as job opportunities for graduates of the Geology Engineering Study Program. For this first session, the theme presented was “Earth Through Time” which was delivered by Mas Pujo Rahmanto (Geologist Planning & Operation Region 3 Pertamina Hulu Indonesia) who is an alumnus of SMAN 1 Pati and also a nature lover who has succeeded in setting his mark on a number of mountain peaks. fire both in Indonesia and also outside Indonesia. How is the history of eruptions and the mechanism of the earth engine that can trigger volcanic eruptions, how the dynamics of the movement of the earth’s plates and their relationship with human civilization is explained very nicely by Mas Pujo Rahmanto. The whole story of civilization and the track record of culture in Indonesia cannot be separated from the dynamics of geological processes that occur in Indonesia, by understanding the container of space and time, historical reconstruction can be built. In this webinar, many participants received attractive prizes by participating in the games that have been prepared, besides that, the winners of the photography competition which was also held by the TG Usakti Study Program were also announced.
